Did Einstein Miss Dipole Gravity in His Own Theory?

The brutally honest answer to this question is yes. But it was in the early 1920s and the observational astronomy hasn't yet discovered the jets nor the dark matter problem at the time. Like in many cases when a new theory is proposed, the author of the new theory will be very anxious to establish a strong footing of the new theory based on the existing principles or dogma that have been popularly known.

Violation of the well known principles will easily be considered a sign of the failure of a new theory. The only way to achieve this goal is to anchor the theory to those well known results within the established scientific field. Of course, one of this anchors in Einstein's case had to be Newtonian gravity which is very obvious and justifiably a necessary anchor to claim the validity of the new theory of gravity.

And the next one in Einstein's mind was Mach's principle. The existence of the centrifugal force like term in the second order of the weak field limit in the linearized theory of general relativity proved without a shadow of doubt that general relativity was the correct theory in Einstein's view. The claim of these two anchors could not be challenged without challenging Einstein's own authority. If anyone decided to challenge his interpretation, he/she has to have extraordinary physical as well as theoretical evidence to prove it.

So, I don't think it is entirely fair to blame the group that has been so profoundly successful in developing the theory to its present form for missing the solution of dipole gravity. This shows the remarkable example that the ultimate teacher of the secret of the universe is the nature itself not a fallible human. However, the action after the key point of dipole gravity is revealed is a separate issue. They should have done everything that is possible to disseminate the knowledge to the people in the field so that the theory of dipole gravity can be utilized for studying the various mysteries of the universe. The only reason this knowledge is being suppressed is the jealousy that is the source of all evils.

Even in the early days of general relativity, the mysterious axial term(in the direction of the Z axis) of the Lense-Thirring force, which has nothing to do with the centrifugal force, bothered both Lense and Einstein as we can see in their personal communications, because this axial force term could not be eliminated in the process of deriving the "centrifugal force". In a way, this could and should have raised enough suspicion on the validity of the centrifugal force interpretation of the second order terms.

What I believed and wondered in 1981, when I was at the graduate school of the University of Michigan learning theoretical particle physics, was that general relativity should be able to explain the jet phenomenon and if not, why not and why the electromagnetism has to be used for it. It was a legitimate question but I didn't have a clue. I didn't trust the theory saying that the plasma and the magnetic field are the causes of the jets. Black holes by definition should collapse all the electromagnetic fields in the surrounding area. I thought it was too bulky and cumbersome and personally could not eliminate the feeling of the ad hocishness of the theory which is now known as the Blanford-Znajek process, no matter how the people in the field may be excited about it.

It was only in 1995 when I noticed the abnormalities of the center of mass of the rotating hemisphere when considered with special relativity and Newtonian mechanics and the rest is history. I can only credit it to God's intervention.

Being a human being, I made a mistake of anchoring dipole gravity to the centrifugal force interpretation of the Lense-Thirring force as shown in the paper published in 1999. Otherwise, the paper even may not have had a chance to be published anyway. Basically, this interpretation hindered the connection of dipole gravity to the dark matter problem for the next 9 years. As stated in the previous posts, the signs of the Lense-Thirring force was wrong and reversed. Only this new interpretation can explain the jets and the dark matter problem consistently within the general relativistic principles.

How and Why?

Once you get to know what dipole gravity really is, you will experience the realization that the seemingly benign mathematical "trick" and a sensible logic becomes bigger and bigger until it overwhelms your entire knowledge of general relativity and the cosmology and come to the realization that how tiny all other adventures in general relativity have been.

See how many years the people in the field have been fallen into believing that the modified Maxwell's equation is the genuine part of general relativity which is also conventionally known as gravitomagnetism while it is far from the true general relativity. How many texts are written around this subject for so long as if it is the real thing? You will experience the tremendous sense of despair and helplessness because of the very realization that you are witnessing the deepest missing link of the mystery that has been eluding our science for so long. And also by the brutal awakening that how simple it was, when someone showed it exactly how it was

See how long it has been believed that general relativity has no answer for the large scale universe. .See also how long people in the field have suffered because of the lack of answer for the jets and the dark matter problems directly from general relativity.

In ancient Korea, when the scholars experienced this kind of upheaval in the high office of the academia or in the government, they simply went to the high mountain, shaved their hair and became Buddhist monks. The world in their minds has become meaningless because they suddenly have come to the realization that what they have built in their entire life has become a pile of manure.

It seems like I have given them the hardest blow that they have ever experienced in their entire life of academic career. But whatever that can fall will eventually fall because it is not built on the rock.

I understand the unresponsiveness. Because there is nothing to rebuttal.

I think many of the scholars in academia would have taken that path if this happened in ancient Korea. The whole life has lost its meaning in their minds.

I think it is time to wake up from the coma. What you are witnessing is the reality.

For those who believe in the time machine, here is an example of what its claim surmounts to. I made an apple juice out of a batch of apples. And now the juice is inside a several gallon sized bottles. Going backward time means that this juice suddenly comes out of the bottles by themselves and collects all the pieces of the apple bits and the liquid and form back to a complete batch of the apples that I originally started.

If you think this is possible, then it is ok to believe in the time machine. The entropy of a system is known to increase in any known physical experiment and this principle has never been violated in the universe. To claim that there can exist a physical time machine, you have to prove how the principle of the entropy increase is violated in a theory that is remotely plausible. There is no known physical event that requires the entropy principle has to be violated. There may be still unknown theory beyond general relativity that makes the entropy principle to be violated but, at least, general relativity dipole gravity from has already proved that the two way traversable wormhole is impossible.

On the other hand, one can argue that the theory of dipole gravity violates the energy conservation principle, but general relativity has never been proven to conserve energy in a local system. One can also argue that the theory of dipole gravity violates the Newtonian mechanics. If you insist the totality of Newtonian mechanics, then you can not explain the dark matter problem. General relativity is clearly shown to violate Newtonian mechanics from the example of dipole gravity and the simplicity of explaining the cosmological problem using the very principle.

Cosmic Battle Field

After all, Fritz Zwicky was right. There IS dark matter in the universe. The Lamda CDM model has been vindicated, while the MOND suffered a blow in this cosmic saga of the dark matter battle field. Except that there is no need for the presence of the exotic particles to explain the dark matter’s identity, most of the results of the CDM model should be valid without a major revision.

So, the LHC can relax from the pressure of the expectation of the detection of the exotic particles called WIMPs. At least for now it seems that the detection of the WIMPs is irrelevant to the success of the CDM model. Of course, even if the WIMP may be detected from LHC, there is no reason they should be populated in such a density around the core of the galaxies that the debate will not be over without an additional physics.

“Moreover, ΛCDM says nothing about the fundamental physical origin of dark matter, dark energy and the nearly scale-invariant spectrum of primordial curvature perturbations: in that sense, it is merely a useful parameterization of ignorance.” quoted from Wiki.

Now, what will be the real identity of the dark matter? Will they look like sands, ice, rocks or rocks of the size of the boulders? If we look at the volcanoes that erupt on earth, it will be pretty much the same as the jets from the rotating galactic cores except that the strong repulsive gravity at the poles will send them very far away (light years) than the usual pressure powered eruption of the volcanoes on earth.

Normally, the faster the expansion of the pressure as they come out of the nozzle, the finer the size of the particles and also the faster the rate of the condensation. But then the port of the rotating core of the galaxies may not be small whatever the meaning of the "small" in this case may be. So, one can expect that the rocks ejected from the rotating star could easily be the size of the boulders if not the size of the typical asteroids.
